  Books come and go. Ideas come and go. Remember Dr. Benjamin Spock? One whole generation raised their children according to “Dr. Spock's Baby Book”. The problem is — what if Dr. Spock (or whomever is the flavour of the day) was wrong? Dr. Spock admitted before his death that perhaps his ideas were not that helpful.
The problem with our ideas is that that we are always learning. Our new knowledge invalidates our old knowledge and so we start over. What if there were some answers to life's most difficult questions that do not change from year to year? We have some good news?

Accept each other just as Christ has accepted you; then God will be glorified. Romans 15:7

And remember, it is a message to obey, not just to listen to. If you don’t obey, you are only fooling yourself. For if you just listen and don’t obey, it is like looking at your face in a mirror but doing nothing to improve your appearance. James 1:22-23

You have heard me teach many things that have been confirmed by many reliable witnesses. Teach these great truths to trustworthy people who are able to pass them on to others. 2 Timothy 2:2

y : Yeast Positively Influencing Our Culture
Jesus also used this illustration: “The Kingdom of Heaven is like yeast used by a woman making bread. Even though she used a large amount of flour, the yeast permeated every part of the dough.” Matthew 13:33
